Cultural activities form an important part of the extra-curricular programme in order to develop all facets of the learners' personalities. Clubs and societies are run under the guidance of staff members although learners are also offered the opportunity to develop their leadership potential. The parents and the public are regularly invited to attend concerts, recitals, debates and displays throughout the year. At a more competitive level, inter-house and inter-school competitions are arranged.

CULTURE  offers Chess, Band, Ensemble, Drumline, Choir, Land Service, Debate and Bridge Building.

~          Our band has done exceptionally well through the years.

In 2005 and 2008 they won the South African Championships

In 2009, 12 members made the KwaZulu Natal Prestige Band and 8 members the KwaZulu Natal Youth Symphony Orchestra.

~          The Ensemble was category winners in South Africa in 2005 and achieved second place in 2009.

~          Our Drumline won the South African Championships in 2008.

~          Three members of the Choir was chosen as members of the KwaZulu Natal Youth Choir.

~          We participate in and organize the bi-annual Eisteddfod where our learners excel.

~          We have a well equipped Music Centre with over 100 music learners.

~          Our Bridge Building teams have done exceptionally well.  They have gone through to the South African Championships several times in the past.

~          The school stages a musical every two years.

en Brugbou.

~          Ons Orkes het besonder goed gevaar oor die jare.

In 2005 en 2008 wen ons die  Suid-Afrikaanse Kampioenskappe.

In 2009 is 12 leerders ook deel van die KwaZulu Natal Prestige Orkes en 8 leerders deel van die KwaZulu Natal Jeug Simfonie-orkes.

~          Ons Ensemble wen hulle kategorie in die Suid-Afrikaanse Kampioenskappe in 2005 en het in 2009 tweede gekom.

~          Ons “Drumline” is ook as Suid-Afrikaanse Kampioene gekroon.

~          Drie van ons leerders is deel van die KwaZulu Natal Jeugkoor.

~          Ons organiseer en neem deel aan die tweejaarlikse Eisteddfod waar ons leerders voorwaar uitstaan.

~          Ons het ook ‘n goed toegeruste musieksentrum met oor die 100 musiekleerders.,

~          Ons Brugbou span het telkemale deurgedring na die Suid-Afrikaanse

kampioenskappe.

~          Die skool bied elke twee jaar ‘n musiekblyspel aan.
